Enableline
Finite authority. Measurable risk.
Enableline is the program brand for Authorization Path, a risk program for autonomous systems that move money, place orders, change infrastructure, and take other actions with effect outside the system.
The gap
The risk is not only a wrong answer. It is value that moves, or stalls, at the edge of authority.
Autonomous systems now act. Authorization Path measures two exposures that sit between the covers built for other things: value that moves after a signed revocation while the grant is still live at the enforcement point, and an in-grant action that a named dependency blocks.
Model and output
What the system says.
Errors, hallucination, harmful output.
Cyber
Someone breaks in.
An attacker in the systems, increasingly written with AI carve-outs.
Authority
Value that moves after a signed revocation, or stalls when a dependency fails.
What Authorization Path measures: a revocation that never reached a still-live grant, and an in-grant action a named dependency blocked. A breach of the boundary itself belongs to the control vendor.
The unit
Authorization Path measures one path at a time.
A path joins a named actor, a tool, a counterparty scope, an authority cap, a clock, a revocation mechanism, an enforcement point, and an inspectable event record. It turns standing permission into finite authority that can be tested and priced.
The event dictionary
Every event on a path falls into one state.
The program classifies what happens at the enforcement point. The classification comes from the record, not from anyone's account of it.
An action inside the grant executes. Whether it was a good decision is a question of judgment, not of authority.
Not a program event. A bad judgment inside the grant stays here.An action outside the grant is refused. The control did its job.
Correct refusal. Not a program event. An action inside the grant is refused because a named external dependency prevented a safe decision.
Measured as in-grant value delayed or left unexecuted, capped by the grant, caused by a named dependency, classified from the record.Value executes under a still-live grant because a signed revocation could not reach the enforcement point. Bounded by the cap and the grant's remaining validity.
Measured as value executed, capped by the grant and its remaining validity. If the grant was still live at the enforcement point, it is B2 and not a vendor warranty event. Once the commit bound has passed, the grant is not live, and any execution is C whether or not the revocation arrived. B2 exists only while the grant is still live at the enforcement point. If the record cannot separate an external dependency failure from a control defect, it is not B.An action executes outside its grant. The boundary failed.
A control-vendor matter under the vendor's own license. Not an Enableline event. The control layer
The enforcement point is supplied separately.
On each path, actions are enforced by ChronaGate™, a hardware control supplied by AI2 (Asymmetric Intelligence & Innovation) under its own license. Enableline is being formed to be administered separately from AI2. It does not sell, license, or warrant the control, and the control license is not a policy.
The record
What a path produces.
- 01
The scheduled path and its live grant
- 02
Every action the grant allowed, and every action it refused, with the reason
- 03
Each named external dependency and its state at the moment of decision
- 04
Revocation signature, receipt, and commit times
- 05
Signed timestamps from the time source named on the grant
The record belongs to the organization that runs the path. It is the evidence a measured risk program is built on, and it can be checked without asking anyone who has a stake in the answer.
Roles
Who does what, and who never does what.
| Party | Role | Never does |
|---|---|---|
| The organization | Runs the path, writes the grant, keeps the record. | Classifies its own events. |
| AI2 | Supplies the enforcement point under its own license. | Decides cause or eligibility on any program event. |
| Enableline | Holds the program wording, the event dictionary, and the program relationships. | Decides cause. Holds claims authority. |
| Independent adjuster | Applies a closed cause code to the record. | Answers to the control vendor. |
| Licensed insurer and intermediary | Write and place any coverage, on their own paper. | Delegate cause to Enableline or AI2. |
How cause is decided
A closed code, applied by someone independent.
- 01
The record is read as it stands. Nothing is reconstructed after the fact.
- 02
The independent adjuster applies a closed cause code. There is no open-ended category.
- 03
Causes inside the organization's own control are excluded before any state is assigned.
- 04
If the record cannot separate an external dependency failure from a control defect, the event is not classified as B. It goes to the control vendor under its own license.
Sequence
Evidence first. Scale after.
Now
In formation
Program wording, event dictionary, and cause code drafted. No coverage is offered.
From January 2027
First paths produce records
Licensed control paths begin generating the signed records the program is measured on.
After that
One peril, proved
One claims-determinable peril is proved on real records before any scale is sought.
Questions
Plain answers.
Is Enableline an insurer?
No. Enableline is a program brand, in formation. Any coverage, if offered, would be written by licensed insurers and placed by licensed intermediaries on their own paper.
Does Enableline decide claims?
No. Enableline holds no claims authority and does not determine cause. An independent adjuster applies a closed cause code to the record.
How does Enableline relate to AI2?
AI2 supplies the control layer under its own license. Enableline is being formed to be administered separately from AI2, and it does not sell, license, or warrant the control.
What about a breach of the boundary itself?
That is state C, a control-vendor matter under the vendor's own license. It is not an Enableline event.
Can I buy anything here?
